Although "tired" and "worn"....this is a legit Kramer made buckle.

Totally agree with Rob that the buckle you have shown is quite original. Unlike Rob though, I cannot read the M4/** markings. What is interesting though is that the buckle is probably steel, layered with a copper type coating and then, plated with nickle silver. This is a process I think favoured by the well known M4/44 Paul Cramer und Cie., Lüdenscheid. What is the M4 mark by the way?

Sorry for the "typo" on the maker name: not Kramer - but Cramer! M4/44 for sure. Given the construction and what I see to be M4/44 - I'm pretty sure it's a Cramer.....Cheers!
