Default Dransfeld 1st Pattern 1936 with matching belt (Unit marked)

A nice unit marked, 1st pattern Dransfeld & Co - Menden, dated 1936.

'Flieger Ersatz Abteilung 17' from Quedlinburg.

You will note that the unit mark is double/over stamped on the tab (LBAB 36 underneath unit mark) and it is stamped on the inner belt and under the tongue.

I found the buckle and belt from 2 different sources, so it was nice to find a match

    From two different sources?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they started life together and you have reunited them!
    Beautiful set. Well done!

Great set. Amazing you were able to match up two unit marked items. I was lucky and matched up Dresden marked Postschutz belt and buckle.

Thanks mate, it was pure luck. Had the belt already matched up with a 1937 Dransfeld 2nd pattern and nearly fell off my chair when I found the 1st pattern with the exact same reg marking. I hear you on the DRP items, hard to find to be honest, so well done..
