Fake buckle ?

Hi all,
I picked this buckle up with a few bits n bobs sight unseen.
Most of the stuff appears genuine but I have serious doubts about this buckle.
I'm no expert, but I've handled enough to notice when something is a bit different.
First off its in extremely good order yet shows considerable wear on the eagle.
Also the makers mark appears to be in the wrong place, and it does not ever appear to have been painted.
Of course I could be completely wrong, so would very much like your opinions.

Gustav Brehmer is the maker, they did locate the makers logo underneath the prong bar occasionally, on the fence regarding originality, wait for others.. G

Please pay attention to this "big berry" in the laurel wreath on 12 o'clock ...
This gave the copy the name "big berry" - fake...
