sharing pics of my new and likely only Luft buckle, been looking for a while for a single sample for my collection, saw this one and the maker looked familiar...went and checked my only Heer buckle(part my field gear mannequin) and lo and behold, same maker and year so I had to have it...not minty but I like the wear in all the right spots

Nice original buckle but the thread looks like black shoe polish might have been used on the tab. I have seen black tabbed Schneider buckles. I almost bought one a few years ago with a black pigskin tab like on your Heer buckle.

Thanks for the feedback,as I was looking around on the forum it seems the black ones are unusual...I was wondering about that texture that looked like holes, didn’t realize it was pigskin...thanks again
