Kampfgruppen continued and end 1970 - 1989

Unfortunately there are very few reliable sources on the uniforms of this emblematic unit of the DDR and the use of photos does not provide more details, several models of uniforms are often present together... This will therefore be a review chronological without precise date of appearance of the models.
The first uniform from 1957 seen previously was used at least until 1973, it was replaced by this one, modeled on the Strichtarn uniforms and is now green in color.
The front pockets are now replaced by chest pockets that we will find on all other models as well as the new badge.

continuation of the presentation...
I saw James C's post (10/18/2020) on the same uniform and what is very interesting is that it is from 1980 - E - (and not 1981 as said in the article). This allows us to determine an end of production date for this model: 1980
We would then be in the presence of a model ranging from the early 70s to 1980
The following model dates from 1981 (H)
This is a jacket of a Hundertschaftenkommandeur or Batteriekommandeur, the leader of a battery of 100 men, the main unit of the KG, made up of 3 Züge each made up of 3 Gruppen.
The jacket is decorated with several decorations typical of the KG whose arrangement on the jacket was quite free unlike the army.



the tabs on the chest and the reinforcements on the elbows have completely disappeared.
the buttons are gray.



the inside of the pockets is in Nylon, date 1/H 1980 and TKO stamp,always the elastic tightening at the bottom of the jacket



The ventilation holes are no longer reinforced by a seam, but burned

the elastic tightening has now disappeared to make way for a strap tightening at the waist

there is no more ventilation hole under the arms



pants which have undergone the same changes as the models have evolved with regard to the buttons, reinforcements and thigh pockets.
