What a very interesting thread, albeit that Police buckles are no longer within my collecting focus.

First and Second Pattern "Preussen".

Perhaps I am correct in thinking that the second pattern with two small roundels under the pin shroud is now faked?

Here is my contribution to this thread. And yes david that buckle is being faked I included the anzig" and "Saxon " police buckles as they are rarely seen but from the same period. The "Danzig" buckle is pictured in "Catella's book.

Images - I suggest that as I do, you post images on a one by one basis, rather than in multiples.

More time consuming, however you can guarantee the sequence and order.
