    Are the pebbles/dots a little too evenly spaced and regular? Might this be a Floch?

    Your photos cannot be expanded to look closely at any details. Floch's dot patterns are by no means regular. Have a look at known Steinhauer & luck examples and compare dot patterns, pin tooling marks etc and see what you think. Seeing as Floch tended to use the same obverse die design on his offerings I'd also compare this badge to the L/14 and L/63 fakes and note any differences. Poor old Johannes seems to get the blame for everything these days.
