Interesting badge, but with only one hundred ever struck by C.E. Junker and only 47 around issued, probably the rarest of all TR badges.
Good luck and I hope you get a definitive answer

Comparing fakes does not help, you have to compare originals.
This one is a very good reproduction, but is missing a few details.
The marking on the reverse looks very close, almost perfect.
The pin shape is very similar, but should have rounded edges.
The catch looks correct, for an out of focus photo.
The sword hilts should have 5 lines in each, this one only has 4.
There should be a die flaw on the 2nd leaf above the left sword handle.
This would make a good place holder, but not for the price of an original, from $30,000.- $100,000, depending on who it was awarded to.

Thanks for your input as usual Rbminis! I found these photos of another reproduction (same 800/2 marker but in gold)
- Also containing 4 lines in the sword hilt.
- Marking on the back seems identical to the one I posted, but unfortunaly the angle isn't good enough for me to be 100% sure.
- Doesn't have the die flaw in the leaf.
- No rounded edges on the pin.
I'm wondering, do the re-productions have these changes/flaws when compared to the 'real' ones? And that this is a genuine Junker, one of the extra 100 they produced?
And no, it's not in the same price range as the original ones haha

Not really sure I understand what you are asking.
This example does not have the same traits as an original, that's how we tell them apart.
There is no way, with the amount ordered, that there would be more than 1 die to produce these.
The one you originally posted is a copy, that's all.
If you proceed with the purchase, keep that in mind.

I found this piece of information, again I trust u more than some website tells me, I'm just making sure.
"The reverse is stamped "800" over "2" which tells us it was the "2nd wear copy" or 2nd version made by Junker who was the only firm to make this badge when their design was approved over Godet's"
"The "1st copy" was stamped "800" over "L/12" while the "2nd wear copy" was stamped "800" over "2". It has been estimated that Junker produced 100 badges in the 2 versions"
So I'm wondering if the '2nd version' has these flaws when compared to the original one and that this is a genuine '2nd' version. But if u say it's a copy then I stand behind that 100%

This quote might explain the "L/12" and the "2".
"Up until 1943, Juncker used the Lieferungs number of the Ordens Gemeinschaeft which was L/12 and
after that, the Presidial Chancellery number of ‘2’ was used."

I was a bit lazy in my language. The link that I posted also has an original and compares it to the fake
