Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold Cased
Hi All,
I'm Looking at purchasing this cased GWB. Unfortunately I could not save pictures from the seller's site, so I will have to link it. The badge itself seems ok, but shouldn't the case have a latch?

Thanks in advance for the help on the badge/case,

Thanks Rene. Any thoughts on the case?

Looks to be an unmarked '30'. I see no red flags. Sorry, can't comment on the case.

The case should have a push button on it. It has likely been married to the WB and does not properly belong with it.

How about a photo of the case w/o the badge in it? Does it show the outline of the badge? I've been told that the black case is for a silver???
My cased gold wound is in a red case, not black. Here it is, no lock pin on it.
Unfortunately I don't have a photo with it out of the case.

All----- if you can't download pics from a site use your snipping tool or press PrtScn button then paste to a new paint thingy found in Windows Accessories!

Sarge, your badge is in a silver award case. Here is a link that shows the correct Hauptmunzamt case

Good to know Rene. Will do so in the future if the same trouble arises.
