Hello
What are your thoughts on this GWB?
It is Marked 30
It has a wide pin.
Comparing it to others there are variations of different pins for this maker?
Thank you very much
Tony

Hello Tony
it's a perfectly good hauptmunzamt Wien in my opinion

Hello Tony
The following thread shows the type of hardware that I would expect to see on a widepin Hauptmunzamt badge:
Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in gold, mm30 wide pin
Also, the areas of missing finish do not really look like the base metal is tombac on the badge you show.
Regards
Brett
Now that I am home from work here is a little addendum:
Verwundetenabzeichen Gold mm30
Regards
Brett
Whoops sorry Tony...your badge is a dud.
What Brett has come up with is perfectly correct.
Now I am back on my computer with my data base the example you have was a fake that was produced around 2000-2006 by Floch.
These Floch copies have some different makers marks on the reverse and some variant hardware set ups but the obverse is always the same..
I won't make a decision on my phone in future
Cheers
Doug
