Default Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz unmarked authenticity?

I am New to collecting militaria, and I was just looking for a second opinion on the authenticity of this Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz unmarked, From the few examples I have seen I believe it to be authentic, but it never hurts to get it in front of people much more knowledgeable than I.

    Thanks in advance!

A perfectly authentic black wound badge, albeit in very worn condition. Still a very presentable badge, mind you. I've always thought the early brass badges look better with most of their paint missing.

One of my own, with a similar lack of paint.

Thank you for your response! I was pretty sure that it was authentic, but I am new and still nervous of fakes, so I like to get second opinions.

You're doing the sensible thing asking for second opinions. Many newcomers jump in head first and get burned. When your hard earned cash is at stake, you can never be too careful.
