    I am New to collecting militaria, and I was just looking for a second opinion on the authenticity of this Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber maker mark 26, From the few examples I have seen I believe it to be authentic, but it never hurts to get it in front of people much more knowledgeable than I.

    Thanks in advance!

    I'm not as confident with silver badges as I am with black ones, but I believe this to be an authentic badge. A lot of the finish is gone, as is typical with zinc badges. It shows no signs of pest, at least.

    It would be easier to be sure, if you save your photos a little larger.
    I believe this to be an original 26 by B.H. Mayer.

    I did actually save the photos larger, but they violated the file constraints so I had to post the “large thumbnail” version as a conssesion. In future I will attempt to modify the file size by trimming the sides!

    @spunkmaja @RMD

    Thank you both! I am happy to have it in my collection!!
