Hi, guys. Saw this silver wound badge recently and liked the look of it. I believe it's Zinc and from 1939. Anyone have thoughts on it's authenticity and maker? It was going for $50 USD.
Thanks for the help!
Best,
Adam

Looks fine, 50$ is a fair price!

Hi, guys and thanks for the replies. If the price is low on this, what would be the high-end price for a wound badge like it? Any idea who "65" was or is there a link or somewhere to find wound badge makers? I think it's great and told the seller I'd take it!
Best,
Adam
Adam,
As the others have said, it's a good badge. Maker '65' is Klein & Quenzer.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Adam. if you go to the top of this forum there are some fantastic references including lists of all the makers and their numbers.
SWB usually go for around 60 - 70 Euros depending on condition and of course scarcity
