From the reverse set up I would say a Steinhauer & Luck with a Juncker set up and to my untrained eye it looks original but wait for a few more opinions from members who know these badges better than I do.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Adrian is correct, Steinhauer & Luck is the maker.
A light vaseline treatment will help with the zinc pest near the hinge.
