Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber, Karl Wurster, Small W
A recent addition to my PAB collection.
An unusual, early, solid zinc example that was made using the dies used for the solid bundtmetal examples.
One distinctive feature of these examples is they often develop large bubbles on the reverse.
Bronze examples in this variant have not been seen.
This example still retains most of it's frosty finish and burnishing on the highlights.
Unfortunately, the catch is missing.

Nice ! It happens, I have a beautiful mint buckle missing just one prong..
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "

For those of you who are unfamiliar with these, or who didn't notice, this is one of the few that has a second small "W" on the reverse near the catch.
