The badge does look very similar maybe it is a late war piece since it is missing the makers mark ?

Well, the GAB wasn't instituted until the 1st of June 1940, and Karneth originally used buntmetal for their badges, switching to zinc as war restrictions started to bite. I would say that this badge can be considered as late war, certainly from 1941-2 onwards.hahahhahaa big ned i figured that
