Looks cast to my eyes, is the hinge part of the badge? Not a separate part?
Soft details and the catch and mound of solder holding it doesn't look good.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
It's a separate hinge...The finish appears to obscure the details...and my eyesight is deteriorating as well...so I'm relying on your eyes here...
It looks like it's made the same as the Heeres Flak badge, the pins, hinges and catches look very similar and I didn't like the other badge.
