Hello, I just got an email from a work colleague. The pictures are not the very best, I have already requested others and will then post them. Could it possibly be a Deumer manufacturer in non-ferrous metal? The lower closure is identical to an EK1 closure. Many thanks for the help.............

Hello Chris,
If it is a hollow zinc Deumer, it should have a round catch plate.
If it is a hollow buntmetal, it should have a flat catch.

FYI: The seller has now had an expertise done. According to the appraiser, an original tombac piece. I can't see through some decisions anymore))))))))..........
