Hi Antonio
The badge looks to be an original E. Ferd Wiedmann but the hinge area and around the catch looks a little strange.
The finish looks a little suspect but could be the lighting of the pics. Looks like something is going on with the right side breast feathers.
Here are a couple silver wrap around hinge examples I have to compare.

Thanks ficher..your help is always welcome.

Fischer, I've noticed here are a few subtle differences in the trimming outline between your badges and Antonio's, particularly in the area I've circled. Would this be a cause for concern or just an anomaly due to the finishing methods?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Hi Adrian
Good Eye on spotting the differences in details...
The cut outs on the reverse of a badge and the particular shape of certain areas has helped me identify not only originals but detect fakes as well.
If you look at the (3) posted badges you can find small differences between them all. Here are two more...these are referred to as lily pad hinge Wiedmann ISA's and check the area you identified. You will see the bronze is close to the shape of the badge that started this thread, with the silver matching my other two.
As you have stated, my opinion is this is an anomaly caused during production.
Best Regards, fischer
thanks, Adrian and fischer...I will be assured that the badge is not a fake

Antonio
