Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen by Fritz Zimmermann, Stuttgart in zinc.

Article about: I don't think I have posted this one before. A departure from some of the early Tombak badges I've shared, but I like it a lot.

    Very nice addition Todd.
    It appears to be un-issued.
Here is my example, with the hardware that this reverse was designed for.

Nice addition Todd with sharp, crisp obverse details.
For me, it appears that all the finish is gone.

When looking closely at the protected, recessed areas of the ISA can you see any remnants of finish?

Here is my small barrel hinge example with a round catch plate to compare.

Thanks Todd...Does it look like this one ever had any finish?

In looking at your pics, I don't see any remnants of finish in the recessed areas or on the hardware.

Does anyone else have and/or seen an FZS variant that appears have never received finish like Todd's example?

    Best Regards, fischer
