I agree with Glenn and Ralph and this one is a very nice Large Font, bronze grade Rudolf Souval, Wien.

Your example has the cut out area between the swazy and the K98k rifle; if you look at my example in the link, you will see there is no cut out.

Congrats on adding this one...a variant I am still searching for.

I think it is safe to assume that whenever you see this hook setup on a Souval badge, you can be assured that it is a postwar badge. The disk with the cut-in and the wide hook that is an integrated part of the disk. The cut material is used to fold the c-hook.

That is correct Martin and that catch is referred to as the "Souval Claw".

Also, on the Post War ISA Souval examples...the leaf between the sling and the K98k butt stock is missing.
These are post war badges, but they are collectable in their own right.

Yes, that last one is a very clear picture to refer to! Thanks! And indeed, Souval is collectable in their own right. I am very happy with my postwar L/58 KC and Anti-Partisan badge, as the real ones are out of reach at this moment.
