Congrats on your latest acquisition! A really nice Juncker attributed ISA.
These were at one time referred to as the Slim Stalk variant due to the thin appearance of the badge outline.
As mentioned, these are usually found with a golden colored undercoat or primer before the finish was applied.
Yours shows this coating peaking through on the wreath and the Kar98k.
Also due to this golden colored undercoat, if the silver finish has evaporated with time, the ISA can be mistakenly identified as a bronze grade.
Here is my silver grade that displays the same undercoating as yours.
