Article about: A recent addition to my IAB collection. This variant utilizes a block hinge as opposed to the typical sheet metal wrap around hinge. It also has a pedestal for the hinge, instead of the norm

    Default Infantrie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, William Hobacher.

    A recent addition to my IAB collection.
    This variant utilizes a block hinge as opposed to the typical sheet metal wrap around hinge. It also has a pedestal for the hinge, instead of the normal raised guide lines
    The silver finish has been partly absorbed, as visible from the reverse. The obverse still retains most of it's finish.
