Your photos are rather small, but it looks like it could be a good unmarked ShuCo.
Wait for other opinions.

I think it's a fake.
Thank you. I have found an identical badge on a dealer's website, described as a 4-vein SHuCo design.
General Assault Militaria - 4 vein SHuCo
But I've looked through the assorted threads in this site (including the database of originals) and cannot match it.

Hello Adrian,
You are correct, the one on the GAM site is the same variant as yours.
From what I can see of the larger obverse, your example looks like a good ShuCo Design 4-vein.
Known attributes of this ISA that separates if from other ShuCo Design examples is the unique wreath leaf vein patterns, smallish round catch plate and the flat top head sculpt.
Can you post a larger pic of the reverse...the catch does not look correct.
Here are two from my collection to compare.
Best Regards, fischer
I note that the catch on your example seems to be round wire whereas the catch on this one appears more flattened. The hinge is, I think, the same.
p.s where are the "4 veins" referred to? I assume in the leaves of the wreath?
