Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
During the construction of the the “VCh” communications line in the waterless steppes of Mongolia and in combat operations against the Japanese imperialists in China, Lieutenant Aleksandr Petrovich Chilikanov has proven himself a bold, courageous, and decisive officer. Executing his duties as a company commander, he properly assigned missions to his subordinate units and capably employed his forces, positioning himself at the most crucial locations to settle matters as they occurred. He motivated his personnel to quickly accomplish their missions through his personal example of courage and endurance. The company under his command accomplished all their missions quickly and qualitatively. For excellent accomplishment of the Command’s missions and displaying courage, valor, and capable leadership of his subordinate units, I am recommending Lieutenant A.P. Chilikanov be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
