I believe this one is okay.
    Wait for other opinions.

This was the one you had with the other items I thought was good myself.

Looks different from mine. Catch is different & detail of acorns. Think it should be a fluted round wire catch..

    Hello David,
AGMuK used a couple, (actually, there are 17 different variants in Thomas Durante's book), of different catch patterns.
Here is a good thread about the different makers and we are slowly building it into possibly a complete reference thread.
    Makers of the Nahkampfspange

Here are a couple photos of my example with a different back plate crimping method and fluted pin, but the same catch as the one originally posted.

Thanks Ralph. Been studying these (a little) for a while now. So the face of this too looks good I assume ?

From what I can see, the photo being at an angle, it looks okay to me. Sometimes I have a difficult time with obverse details, but, if the hardware is all correct, I tend to use that instead.
Here is the front of my example.

Maybe just a strike flaw or damage on his upper left acorn.

I would love this book but at over $300 on the used market............not happening.

    Also on the lower right.
The one originally posted appears to be worn, maybe a little abused, and cleaned at some time, going by the condition of it and the residue of the cleaner in the recesses.
Could account for a few small differences.
