A good Juncker 1.13.1. Note the mispelling of the makers name, C.F. Juncker as opposed to the correct C.E. Juncker that was remedied on the 1.13.2 type clasp. I like the minutae.

    Ver nice Juncker Nahkampfspange!

But the grade is not silver....the clasp have lost some bronze finish on the obverse side, so the basic material is looking through. On the reverse side you can good spot the bronze grade.

But for sure an excellent clasp imo.

I also thought bronze last night and wrote that initially before striking it, as I wondered if it had been given a silver wash that had all but disappeared. But looking again this morning with fresh eyes I agree with Joe, it's bronze!

I was wondering about that myself, Joe. I'm leaning towards bronze also.
