    I collected a lot of stuff 25 some years ago and have been digging it out after I found this forum. I've always wondered if this particular badge was a fake, mainly because it looks new.

    Hello, a "Coffin Pin" fake, based on the coffin like pin, JMO, wait for others for confirmation.

    The coffin shape refers to the attachment plate used on the pin, you usually see round plates.

    On a side note, some militaria will look new, even mint, items are out there in un-issued state, when in doubt you can post on the Forum BEFORE buying, Welcome to the Forum, G
