Unfortunately, you are correct on all accounts.
Also, there never was a badge made by this maker. M1/129 was the silliest maker to fake because it didn’t exist.
I’m sure you will find a good badge, keep at it. The DE badge does exist, just not the DE 1933 badge. It’s a fantasy badge.

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
Unfortunately a very well known fake indeed. Any chance to return it to the seller for a refund - in case you bought it?
Especially UK sellers did not hesitate to spread this fakes en-masse this year.
I remember that I wrote one of these sellers a few months ago and told him very politely, that this is not an original badge, including
a full page of references and informations - with the result that he added 1 sentence to his badges' auction afterwards: "100% war-time original".
What a lousy fart!
As Greenhorn said, good for us, the faker used such a stupid RZM number.
Maybe, during working in his fume-filled UK/Polish/Ukraine... workshop the faker tought to himself, that faking a badge with
such a 'rare' RZM where no one has an original to compare would make his fake harder to uncover and more realistic - who knows?
Thank you both for confirming my suspicions. A shame but it's all useful information I can add to the info sheets I'm writing out for all the items my stepdad owns in his collection.
Oh haha there is no chance of that, my stepdad bought / acquired everything he has over 20-30 years ago haha.Any chance to return it to the seller for a refund - in case you bought it?
