NSDAP authentic?

I just got this in the mail today. Is it authentic? For some reason the pin part on the back was missing.

I does look ok from the front, the only thing the concerns me a little bit is that the letters are very spread.

But this could just be something typical from a particular maker and doesn't mean it's a fake. Someone else will probably chime in and clear this up.

The back pin could just be replaced. Just my opinion

PS: Is there another marking on the back? Like an M1/...?

M1/42 indicates "Kerbach & Israel" (Later changed to Kerbach & Oesterhelt i believe). I've seen similar setup on these to be honest, but not something i'm sure enough to comment on!

Original late war zink party badge, The round part on the back (instead of a pin) is supposed to fit through a button hole I believe, Regards Paul
