I like it, U.V. testing isn't always reliable. Maybe it was once washed in a modern detergent. It looks to me exactly the same construction as mine , even the same RZM maker ( mine was a direct vet bring back )

Hello John,
sorry, but i dont like either of them.
I hope other opinions too.
NSDAP Armband with RZM Tag…..Original or Fake?
Greetings Oliver
Not sure what you mean, The link you show is about an armband constructed of wool not cotton ? As said mine was a direct vet bring back given to me back in the mid 1970's by an ex soldier friend of my father. Regards Paul.
Hello,
the label seems to be made of some kind of paper.
Did such labels (papery) exists?
Or possibly glued afterwards? After washing, the label should not be there anymore, or?
thanks

Hi Oliver. Looks like a good armband. The paper label is called an RZM label.
A quality check has been done by the ReichsZeugMeisterei and the label shows the manufacturer and gives an indication of the production batch and taxation involved.
I suggest you research it a bit. Any new Third Reich collector needs to have some basic knowledge of it.
Hello Vocht,
i know the name of the label. I collect over 20 years. But i have never seen a armband like this (glows under UV-light).
What are the unique charaketristics of originality of the armaband?
greetings
Oliver
It's an original, I'm sure of that. I also own two of this three piece linen fabric version. The production is very typical, the red is in this typical bright glowing color. These armbands were worn on the brown shirts of the SA, NSKK, NSDAP and so on. The RZM label is also original, which can be recognized by these small 'waves' in the paper. As for the UV light method, it is not necessarily reliable because the armband may have been washed with modern detergent. It also seems to me that the RZM tag was taken off once and put back on (possibly to wash the armband).
