Original SA Wehrmannschaft Armband?

I believe these are called a "Wehrmannschaft" Armbands right? Anyway I'm looking into purchasing this one so I could expand a little bit. Is this item any good?

Definitley a genuine piece. These are usually found in unissued condition. Although period manufactured, I have never seen a photo of it in wear. These were period manufactured enmasse but likely not issued in any great amount.

Possibly this is a NSKK man wearing the war time visor cap. It is wonderful to finally see this item in actual wear. Here is an example of the visor cap I refer to.

I'm glad I foud a photograph for you; it was just luck that I found it. What caused this problem with getting the name right, its a Wehrmannshaft right? The name "sports armband" didn't seem right to me.

This armband has been incorrectly identified as a SA Sports armband since I started collecting in the mid 1950's. As far as I know, only recently has this incorrect identification been challenged.

I was doing a search on google for the armband, and it lead me to a site which linked to the photo. I just googled "SA Wehrmannschaft Armband" and check images, may lead you to it. I could try finding the link again.

Hi Guys, the photo was shown on WAF.

Although it shows it being worn, close inspection of the photo will reveal the wearer is actually an American GI clowning around for the camera. Note the double buckle combat boots.
