Re the brownshirt .... according to my knowledge SA Sturmführer had collar tab piping in group colors, not silver.
Additionally I’m wondering why the colors of collar tab and shoulder board don’t match?

In 1938 collar tab pipping change, it start to be to all commissioned ranks either gold or silver, as button colour. SA Sturmführer was lowest rank at commissioned ranks.
Color of the underlay on shoulder board indicate service at Jäger/Schützen. On 1939 underlay colours was changed for all ranks to military concept of Waffenfarbe.

Is this shoulder board changed at period time, it's sure looks like it, but I think it may had been added for this tunic also after war.
