Early Panzer Totenkopf

Hello War Relics Members,

I want to show you my latest acquisition. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on this one since panzer skulls are the easiest to get a hold of. It is made from a tombac material with a silver finish on top of it. Quality prongs soldered on the back. This is probably a pre war - early war example. All of these details make it a lot more desirable for myself. Since there are many less quality pieces made of zinc and ones with one piece construction out there.

And for comparison next to a small danziger skull that was also used on early panzer uniforms. Very happy to add this example to my collection since i don't have a lot of smaller collar skulls to display next to each other. Most of my skulls in my collection are cap badges. Well done Dos. these are my favorite type of panzer skulls, the early tombac version with sturdy prongs like the Danziger skulls. I have a similar pair and a single skull.

Thank you Aldo. You got some nice examples there. Wish i had a pair! Maybe one day i will find a similar one with the same patina.
