Is this a Heer Coat? Or from a different Organization?

Hello Forum,

i found this very worn coat for sale and i´m wondering what organization it belongs too, it is sold as Heer and has a Gefr. Rank inside, but the color does not match what i would expect from a Heer Coat. Is it a late war example from a different Material, or from another NS Organization?

The ID marking is quite impressive! Never seen anything that big before... and I cannot work out what the ‘6WG’ represents.
As for the colour, it could be that the mantel is made from mid/late-war ‘Russischerstoff’ cloth, incorporating shredded Russian uniforms (to eke out the fabric), which gave it a decidedly brown shade (Italienischerstoff is, naturally, much more of a stone grey).
Alternatively, the DAK version of the mantel was very brown, but I don’t think it looks quite the right shade for that (from these images).
You might need to see a few more construction details, to confirm that it is actually a German manufactured coat.
