As usual, it's always hard to comment from this kind of photos, but from those provided it looks like a decent Leutnant greatcoat. Markings included in a stamped rectangle are rather uncommon.

Hello it is for bundesgrenz after the war, the square marking is typical. Also the bad quality of the inside. For a WWI mantel, the inside is in silk or such material.

For a WWII mantel...
I had never seen a Bundesgrenz greatcoat before...rather close minus markings....
It is not true to say that Officer's greatcoat in WWII had silk or rayon lining only...those lended by the Korps until 1942 had a coton lining.
