Looking to purchase original infantry waffenrock - things to look for/things to avoid?

Article about: Hi everyone, I'm after a German ww2 infantry waffenrock to add to my collection. Obviously, it has to be original WW2 and I'm prepared to pay the price (average I've seen is around \\$1200 aud

    Thanks everyone, this is great news to hear! It looked good to me, but I definitely needed a second opinion. Can you tell me what the patch on the arm signifies, as well as the II on the shoulder buttons? Is it also normal for the manufacturer stampings to have faded/disappeared over time?

    Wireless operators badge.

    II = 2nd Battl.

    Ink stamps do fade out due to cleaning etc.
