    Yep, me too.
    The Adler may, possibly, have been replaced, but - if so - very nicely (there appear to be a few previous stitch holes to the lining rayon). Nothing to worry about.

    Thank you! Any idea what year this one is made? I'm not sure if that is LBA or other markings.

    The LBA stamping does look a little odd, but appears to be from 1943.
    The use of rayon for the lining is always a good indicator for anything from 1942 onwards, though the change, naturally, did not take place overnight!

    Appreciated! I actually managed to find something similar while researching. It appears that the ink (or however that process works) got on the 'edge' of the stamp creating an outline.

    Here the example I found:

    And he also has another one for sale, for artillery personnel, that one almost looks identical to this one!

    However from my understanding it wasn't standard that these drillich uniforms had silver aluminum wire tresse (and collar tabs) on the collars, so I assume that was custom.
