Original cut off Luftwaffe smock eagle?

Hello members,

I came across this cut off Luftwaffe smock eagle. I was wondering if this is an original cut off piece?

The zigzag stitching looks ok to me but for me it's hard to compare to other examples since not every stitching is the same. Hence why I am asking here.

The camouflage fabric looks a little bit on the dark side but I don't know if this is age and wear since the eagle looks worn also.
