Hello gentlemen,

On your last photo, I, personally, see a number "4" & other persons in my near, to.
By consulting the RBNR database, 0/2009/000- . Corresponds to the Diekirch region in Luxembourg. The only manufacturer of uniforms and caps known to date in this region is ALMI whose code is 0/2009/0004.

which has a clearer RB Number for Alfred Miess or 'ALMI' ...

Unfortunately the Rbnr number : 0/0501/0015 is not listed anywhere at the moment. I can just tell you that 0501 corresponds to the Kreis of Paderborn.
