For review : Heer Oberstleutnant Apelt Tunic

Here is, to review, a 6 buttons Heer tunic with a name to Oberstleutnant Fedor Johannes Apelt (Later Oberst and Rittenkreuzträger)

As the tunic seem all original, can I have a advice in the eagle and the krimshild ?

Apologies I forgot the biography of the Major :

We can clue that :

On 04.04.1942 to 02.08.1942, he was the Führer of Infanterie-Regiment 32 then Kommandeur - III. Bataillon / Infanterie-Regiment 32 with the rank of Major (01.04.1941: Major)
On 01.10.1942 he was promoted to Oberstleutnant
On 13.09.1942: Was Führer - Infanterie-Regiment 102

he own the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (March 12th, 1942), Krimschild
(December 30th, 1942) that we can see on the tunic

This tunic could be his one from 01.10.1942 to 01.05.1943 when he changed to the new rank of Oberst

Nice tunic, The Krim shield is an original (unknown maker) The brust adler looks good typical quality but i couldn't tell you if it ha been restored to the tunic postwar. Regards Paul
