Are these likely to be real?
I saw these today and wondered if they're real. I was only able to take a picture from outside a display case. I thought that they were too cheap so probably weren't real, but they could just be a bargin. I don't collect any one thing which is probably not good for gaining knowledge.
Thing is I was given my fathers wartime collection of militaria which is fairly eclectic, badges, buttons and cartridge cases that he swapped as a kid. I continued to add in the same fashion, buying random items that I like and can afford, I realise it isn't the best way to buy but am hoping to get better!

What is the GBP to dollar ratio now? Still around 70 cents? If so, these prices are accurate. I pay anywhere from 10 to 30 dollars for the average specialty patches. Some are rarer than others and command higher prices. These look to be real even with the less than stellar photo. NH

Cheers Neil, Looks like I shall be returning with cash. There was other stuff, shoulder boards and cuff titles but it all looked too new.

Oooh, careful with the cuff titles. They are heavily faked. If you can - send us photos before you buy. There are lots of folks here who have specialist patch knowledge. NH

Price dictated the repro nature of the cuff titles. No one in their right mind would be selling cuff titles for £10-15 and shoulder boards for £10. There was also an Afrika Korps cuff title that looked like one I have asked about in the past, general consensus was that that was faked, I am learning slowly.
