My first thought was early ABC-suit, but if the stamps are real and its supposed to be war time, Id go for heavy duty rain gear - what ever it is, I bet it would be quite hot to wear.
...spealing of which; can we please have a pic of you wearing it - just for kicks?![]()
Flame thrower operators suit.....
I've seen pics of flame throwers mounted on half tracks, and the crews were wearing similar type suits
Here an old thread from Dimas on a flame thrower operators suit...

Anti gas of some sort, the stamp you see on gasmask filters

But the suite of the old thread is very different...
Some images of flame operator?
Thanks
Looks like a foul weather/rain suit - with just enough room around
the eyes for peering through binoculars on the bridge.........
Regards,
Steve.
rene, ABC-suit makes sense.
There might have been more than one kind of flame thrower operators suit, but the pics I find after a quick search doesnt have any hood, that I can see.
I'm not so educated but surely rubber wouldn't have been used?
