    Pics are too confusing. As stated, the "M40" style is an obvious fake. No comment on the other two, other than agreeing with Aide & JP

    I will chime in and say the Reichswehr conversion is hands down the best thing in the jumble of photos. It is my opinion that from a fashion point of view, the older style or "Alter Art" uniforms conveyed a sense of veteran status. The cut, the darts in the back with extra buttons and "French" cuffs are stylish. No doubt this uniform was purposefully retained past its production date for the very purpose of showing off a sense of fashion and veteran history. I have a similar example that I am building into a display for that very reason. NH
