Many thanks for the pictures David. May I say a very nice and unusual RAD buckle. I must agree with what you said though, the buckle originally being a Seiper buckle and the mark "erased" and a Crone tab put on. It will be interesting to compare it with the one coming.

Whilst you and I and with others always and without exception scrutinise buckle markings, stampings and logos, there were those as "customers" in 1930's Nazi Germany who could not care less about this subjective reverse detail.

Thanks David... I hope that this clears some of ne'sayers or misconceptions regarding this thread.. Now.. I am not proclaiming anything other than the buckle in the photo..
It is any mans guess what may have happend in the past concerning the tab / buckle..
But... Based on your peculiar eye to detail and extraordinary insight on such matters
I believe this buckle to be genuine to its' tab... Gwar
