Dear Gwar
We constantly learn from each other and long may this continue within the WRF.
As having been earlier mentioned, in theory the DAF-Werkschar buckle was heavily regulated by the RZM and again and in theory, there should have been a uniform standard of manufacture with little or no variation. There was the clear stipulation that Leichmettalblech (1 mm) was to be employed, however and by a previous posting, this was ignored by some.
I have in my collection 2 nickle silver DAF-Werkschar buckles (Winter and Cramer) and 1 steel DAF-Werkschar buckle (Berg u. Nolte).
Regards,
David

Dear Gwar
With the exception of and with all due respect, the bogus green painted Overhoff which I still do not like one little bit, your collection of RAD "Extra-Koppelschloss" is looking great.
I cannot remember the last time that I sourced a variant and I am still stuck with the old gang of six.
Regards,
David
