I think that the maker or distributor of this RAD buckle is and with all due respect, potentially more interesting than the buckle itself. I have seen the possible acronym of NORWA being attributed to "Norddeutsche Nickel und Silberwaren GmbH" and where the "H" after NORWA, represents the companies presence in Hamburg 39.
Really cannot square the circle on the marking of NORWA actually representing this company and perhaps another Forum member could chip in here and explain.
My apologies in advance if I have missed the blindingly obvious!

My error by referring to NORWA and which of course should have been NOWA. It now all makes sense towards how NoWa is derived, together with the support of H39.
