    IMO these buckles are only attributed to Paulmann & Crone because the tabbed Rad examples ( P&C ) sometimes have visible markings left over from the deliberate erasure of the Sieper "Diamonds".
    Furthermore this was probably done to create the illusion that they were in deed made by P&C or a better explanation is that P&C had some issues in production?? and had to out source until such problems were alleviated... I have posted a pic here of a RAD buckle with the proper maker mark and on a RAD buckle..
    This was sold before I could do a in hands or further picture study... G

    A few more pics of a P & C "Tabbed" buckle that currently resides in my collection as well.. Notice the faint "Diamonds" By the catch and the "Tell Tale" one that is still visible... R.S.S. produced...

    From the new pictures the double diamonds are an early makers mark by Richard Seiper & Sohne, Ludenschied, here is an example of a single makers mark on a Heer buckle
