Last one for the week until I get things sorted out with the "Binder" Blunder...
Paulmann & Crone, Ludenschied... If you look close you can see where this was probably a R.S.S. or" Sieper" at one time with their three logos, Long since erased.....G

    Gwar,

Why erased? (You know I'm not a buckle guy..)
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Michael (MAP) ... Sometimes "Buckle" makers were not what they seemed and out sourced the metal manufacturing process to better equipped companies... This is seen in parade or "Private purchase" buckles... Where any provider ( Store ) could sell quality buckles without having to produce them. Then perhaps in this case... The supplier Paulmann & Crone may have had a die malfunction, couldn't keep up with orders etc; etc; and had to keep within it's production quota or demand and had to rely on another manufacturer..
Thus when the buckles arrived they had to "Erase" their competitors logo off the buckle.. I put it this way... When you buy a bag of pizza rolls from XYZ... they are probably made by "Totino's" a huge facility and bagged up with XYZ's logo... I am not as confident as to the real explaination but it is plausible based on some of the threads here on the forum....G
