Very odd. Looks like the left side of the eagle's wing is set much higher than the right. Somewhat distorted & does not appear to be due to poor application.

Hi, certainly an odd one! The silver flash down the left hand side looks as though the decal folded over slightly on application. Certainly not one put on with any due care and attention. Leon.

Beside the standard reply (study the threads here). The best resource is Ken N's book - The Helmet Decals of the Wehrmacht.

It will give you most of what you need to know. After that it comes down to lots of self study.
